Some people's kids.........UGH!!!!!

Just had a "customer" in our showroom a minute ago......

He asked if we had disc brake shields for a '69 RoadRunner, said he was doing a disc brake conversion......I asked what type of disc brakes he was going to use so I could look up the PROPER part number to see if we had any.

He throws a pissy-fit, walks out and climbs in his truck and does a full burn-out going out of the parking lot all the way into the street.

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!! For Christ's sake, it was a simple question so I could try to get him the right parts!!!!!!! How the hell am I supposed to know what kind of parts you're using????????

Chill pills are FREE OF CHARGE....take as many as you need........and maybe next time, leave your attitude in your truck.......

:cursin:

It's the time Rick. Civility has gone out of the equation as people nowadays expect everyone, everything, and all to be at their immediate beck and call!!! Try and remember his face and looks so the next time he comes in, if he does in fact, then ask him to leave as you don't want his business. The reaction would be priceless. Oh...And most have said that the disc brake dust shields really are not needed as they actually serve no purpose cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

Well it is indeed his problem now.

I'm done with it......

I'm already in "tirement".....maybe it's time to start thinking about re-tirement!!!

Retail is great! You probably made the mistake of asking him something he didn't know! I worked in the biz for about a year and found the Mopar guys are best, they don't balk at prices and usually have enough knowledge to communicate. GM guys don't seem to know much and expect their crap to be in stock at all times, Ferd guys seem to know what they need but are too cheap to pay for it and it's always a hassle to order with long lead times.

Details Rick....details.... :poke:

More importantly...Was it a one-wheel peel, or a full-on two-wheeler burnout?

If it was only a peg-legger skid, he isn't worth worrying about.

You gotta worry if the guy will come back with a gun! Or worse, his Wife!!!!
Tread lightly. These days retirement sounds real good.

Next time wear your ESP hat. I don't miss working retail parts. Maybe remember the douchebag and not let him back unless he apologizes for being a child.

And you know
The worst thing is he will go back to his buddies, if he has any, and tell, them that the laysons guy doesn't know anything. Putting you down for his ignorance that he can't see.
