The Meme not a Meme Thread Part DEUX

This is totally me. I'm always storing parts and materials in case I might need them someday; the wife says I'm a hoarder, but I'm organized and tidy, so not really. And, I actually DO use that piece of wood or metal for something novel. :)
Wife says I'm a hoarder there's some truth to it. A member needed some used parts to match his survivor engine compartment, I had them. Another thing wife wall mounted TV want base on it so it be on a table. She could find the screws to hold the base. I knew I had a bag in my garage I saved from something I bought. Hoarder to the rescue.

I had a screen door that had the mounting screws holding the pneumatic door holder completely strip out the wood from the door frame, so I literally used a piece of random wood to bolt onto the damaged frame section, and then reinstalled the door holder onto that. Another time, when the wife wanted me to install a new bathroom sink and countertop, the new sink didn't quite fit properly to the existing vanity, so again, a random piece of wood was bolted on so it would fit right.

My motto is "when in doubt, throw it out".
