Wayne, that is one beautiful car.
THANKS! Tracked that bit of oil on the pan bottom up to the left rear of the rocker cover. Should have used old cork vs the $$ "better" option! Speaking of oil, seeing it's all in the pan, I'm gonna change it before I start her up.

I wasn't sure if that was oil streaks on the pan or a shadow. At least you know where the leak is. Beautiful car, one of my favorites on this site.

Squirted the 62” last Sunday, took the day off today to start putting the miles of trim back on…more to come!

I pulled the rear springs out of my '67 R/T for a re-arch. These are 3800 lb. S/S Mopar Performance springs that have been in the car about 30 years, and have sagged. I asked for 2" higher than they were. They are back in now, and the rear came up the 2" I wanted it to. I did it twice, because the spring shop did not get it right the first time.

I’ve been tuning carbs more since last weekend.

One of the rear floats was hanging up as it traveled downward.

Found the passenger side float hooks was too collapsed and I had it hooked on the outer side rather than inner. One or both issues caused it to hang-up.

I also lowered the UP float setting 1/16”

Made a difference. Before you had to floor it to get it started.

Set the throttle trans kick down to max setting. So full throttle gives all kick down. That moved the shift points up some and harder.

Also put on my both my original selling dealer license plate frames front and rear.

Installed my hubcaps.

Found the bolt in place of the heat valve shaft came out. Fixed that!

Working on annual maintenance and repairs. Today I repaired a valve cover leak, lubed the front suspension, tightened some loose hardware and detailed the front half of the undercarriage.

I sold my 66 Hemi Belvedere II yesterday. I wasn't actively selling it, but a buyer came out of the blue and made me an offer that I just couldn't refuse.

Gonna start calling your "Troy" PD soon.... DANG...

I still have my 4 Chargers; 5 including the 202 Hellcat. As much as I'd like to get something else to replace it, I'm going to sit tight .... unless something just happens to come along that tickles my taste buds Anything that's nice seems like it's is a hundred grand today and it's nice to sell something for that amount, but not nice to buy something that expensive. While car values have gone through the roof over the last 4-5 years and a hundred grand just aint what it used to be, it's still a hundred grand.

The original owner of my cherished GTX told me years ago that the best cars sell themselves. Appears he was right.

I have a small misfire. Was about to remove the plug wyres one at a time. Number 8, shocking, found a problem real quick, the rubber cover had spilt, allowing the spark to escape, right up my arm. I now know how often number 8 gets to the top and fires. Will get some new plug wyres on Monday.

I finished detailing the back half of the undercarriage, checked/adjusted the tires, checked the diff lube and cranked up the torsion bars 1 1/2 turns...
