I don't think you can answer this hypoyhetical but...

This topic REALLY needs to be discussed in greater detail in the political forum. The most accurate answers would be directly related to moves or actions by highly influential people and that stuff is a hornet's nest in the General forum. An equally interesting question might be to look back...

    '67 Coronet K- member mods.

The E body K member will physically fit, there is a slightly different angle for where the steering box attaches. The 71-72 B and 70-74 E K members were supposed to have a unique center link to accommodate it but I have used an E body K member in a 70 Charger with no problems. If you can weld...

Swapping a tilt steering column into a 1970 Charger

The roll pin held that bracket in place like the roll pin in our traditional pot coupler. Now the firewall plate can come off. I could either use the plate from my original column or modify this plate. I’m not sure which way that I will go.

Swapping a tilt steering column into a 1970 Charger

Backing up a bit…. This adapter was in the shed out back. It is splined with the same diameter as my column. It seems like it will work. That black cover needed a little file work to clear the horn tube. It fits neat. The other end…. The lower shaft was removed. It will need to...

    DeltaV's '70 Charger 500; The Omen

It looks like I removed that bracket in the red car. See finger pointing to the mounting holes: Here is the evap lines from the gas tank to the weird trunk tube. From the top corner of the tank…. Through the RR frame rail, hugging the floor then… ….attaching to hose nipples to...

The 1970 was the only year of the 68-70s that had that emission evaporative tube and 5 vacuum lines. I'm wondering if it is also there to protect that. I'd have to look closer at the car to refresh my memory.

The 1970 had the evaporative emissions vacuum lines too, at least the ones built with California emission equipment. They had this tube in the right side too:

This was removed from my Jigsaw Charger when I replaced part of the trunk floor.

The Meme not a Meme Thread Part DEUX

The exact rules for offending content has been a bit vague but "the line not to cross" would likely include nudity, the F word, the C word, any political stuff, anything blatantly sexual....That probably covers most of what would be objectionable.

Oh, here is another idea… Charger only. To prevent the tank from moving too far to the right and dislodging the filler neck in the event of a side impact?

I think it is a guard for the gas tank to exhaust pipe on dual exhaust cars?

Send dart4forte and family your thoughts & prayers and get well best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Dart4forte’s name is John. I dont know him that well but what limited time I’ve been around him, he is a good guy. He has gone out of his way to help others, a trait the few others have. I recall that he was doing some restoration of seat belts for Mopar friends. I’d see him in Van Nuys during...

Swapping a tilt steering column into a 1970 Charger

The ignition lock was popped in and tested for operation. It moves just fine for the most part but a few times, the lock wouldn't turn....as if the key were not inserted deep enough. I spritzed some PB Blaster in the lock and it seems to work fine now. I reinstalled the turn signal switch...
