I took the Charger out today for a long test drive to check out the carburetor adjustments. It worked way better. The off idle stumble is gone. I will need to swap out the 6.5 power valve because there is still a part throttle flat spot. It was only about 7 degrees celsius, 40 something...

That chart is very interesting. My Charger was a 361 factory air car. I always thought 2.94's were standard and 3.23's were optional. Apparently it was the other way around, and air cars got 2.94's.
We used to roll mercury around in our hands in science class. Then again at YMCA camp I made my father an ashtray out of asbestos. That probably explains a lot about me too. :rolleyes:
If you have a plunge cut made with a modern serdi or similar machine, that will remove pretty much what the porting templates are showing you. Then you just have to blend the transition.
I did the Scarebird conversion as well, and I am very happy with it. I run manual brakes with a 1 1/32 master , and I find the pedal effort fine. If a 1" or 15/16 master had been more readily available I might have used that. I just realized that the rotors look tiny in this picture, but that...
