Note: The glass to track retaining rivet in these kits is molded as ONE part instead of two which should consist of the collar and center pin. You will need to reuse your original rivet's pin and drill out/remove the peg from these rivets in order to use them. All of the kits on the market are...
I picked up two different kits to rebuild my quarter windows in the Charger. Attached are a couple of pic's about the questions I have.
What is the best way to tap the new rollers on the splined pin?
Where do the round gaskets go?
How have you drilled out the silver rivet to mount it? It...
I've had the same question for the exact same problem since I rebuilt the front end on my 67 Charger last summer. It's hard to believe that the picture is correct, but referencing my before pictures validated that it is correct.
Has anyone used the newer repo slide shifters on their shifter yet? I picked one up and it is different than oem. It is textured on one side and flat black on the other. Does the textured side offer any resistance when in use? How does the flat black look in the car?

I am rebuilding the heater control valve on my 67 charger. I am trying to figure out how to get the very small washer to stay in place above the black plunger. I filed the ridges down very carefully to release the washer so I could replace the cracked plunger but am at a loss as to how to punch...

When I tighten the washer and nut, the washer bottoms out on the taper and the stud seems to spin.
I tried a larger washer on the bottom end of the idler arm at the bracket and...
I'm rebuilding the front suspension on my 67 Charger. This is where I am stumped at the moment. I have the PST rebuild kit with new idler and pitman arms. The correct end of the idler arm is in the bracket, but I can't seem to get it to tighten.
It is in as (idler arm, felt washer, k-member...
Out of curiosity, what is the purpose of the flap and where does it go? I've seen replacements for these out lately and have not run across them when I took my baby apart.
If anybody knows, please explain where they go, how they are held in and what they are supposed to do.
Has anyone had any luck trying to find the j-bolts that hold the heater ducting to the dash? These are the short bolts with thread on one end to snug the ducting up to the cowl.
What have y'all done to remedy this situation?
I have a 1967 Charger and I am looking for the "yellow" paint original to the 1967 model year. I have noticed others have beautiful paint on their rides and am trying to find a supplier to match the color original to the car. All info would be greatly appreciated!
