Look at some pics of the Hemi governors. They are machined thinner on the outer weight. The inner weight may be drilled deeper. It may be cut down in a portion of the diameter as well. Lighter is higher rpm. Though the 1/2 and 2/3 may not occur at the same rpm if Modified

Nice!
We roasted a pig for Christmas (Cuban tradition) a few years back in -10*F.
From Left: The Old Man, my youngest brother and yours truly. Middle brother couldn't make it. Had to work.
Thanks for the opinions! I believe I will pass on running it...for now anyway. The engine on the stand right now is a bone stock 440-6 with a performer rpm in it for break-in... don't want to wash it down with a goofy old carb.

So I have a max wedge governor installed in my BB727. I'm wondering what I can expect for a shift points in drive. My GTX has a column shift. I'm wanting to leave it in drive and get it to shift at 5700-6000 rpm. Can you mod the max wedge governor to shift higher?
When I went to the SEMA show, I went to the Atomic Museum in Vegas. It's all about the bomb program. It boggles the mind when you remember all of the work/design/brainiac stuff was by actual humans figuring stuff out and no computers involved.
About 4 years ago, the front burner on our 1989 Weber malfunctioned. Tried but could not get parts. So I moved the middle burner and port to the front. Still working, just have to think differently, still would like to find a replacement.
As long as I can turn the gas on, we bbq. Did a...
A lot of 440 b bodies came with a 22” rad I believe. If a 22” rad is three cored, it should work well. Take a drive here and you can get a 67 factory 26” complete rad assembly.
