GM invests billions, then shuts down project.

Self driving cars are the next big thing. I think it's a huge mistake. Farm equipment manufacturers are doing the same thing. An 80,000# semi with no driver? What could possibly go wrong?

You are correct they really don't have more recoil than a shotgun with stock factory rounds. However if you reload and take advantage of the stronger receivers on these lever guns they can become abusive.

This is an old target and probably the last time I shot my 444. Handloads and a Burris 4x power scope at 100yds. Lever guns can shoot and the 45-70 is an inherently accurate cartridge.

GM invests billions, then shuts down project.

What a joke! Greed and piss poor management ruins everything. I’m by no way endorsing self driving vehicles , I would take a train, bus or cab if I didn’t wish to drive... pretty dam simple! Other than traffic what isn’t there to like about driving? Freedom ! I would never think of wasting money...

Factory AC in non factory AC car

i dont like the air volume from my install of factory vents in the dash. the under das would be a better choice for air volume . i installed my a/c compressor on the right lower side of engine but will need an electric fuel pump.
