71-72 b-body street cars...what are you running for tire/wheel sizes

Just wondering what the combo's are for a 72 gtx. Going with steel mopar rallye wheels. I was leaning towards 15x6 in the front, 15x7 rear.
In other body styles, I've run a 235/60 up front, or a 225/70. Rears 255/60 or 275/60.
Whatcha running?

Years ago I ran 15x7 front with 225/70r15 and 15x8 rear with 275/60r15 on my 73 Charger.

On a 7" rear wheel I would stick to no wider than 255/60r15 if it were mine.

Just to add optimal back space on the combo I posted above is 4” front, 4.5” rear.

My Runner has 15x8 Welds on the rear with a 275-60-15" tire.
Fronts are a Weld 15x3 with a 27" tall x 15" Mickey Thompson front runner tire.

My 73 (with VERY similar wheel wells) has 215 70 14 on 14x5.5 on the front and 255 60 15 on 15x6.5 on the rear.

Looks like those are the sizes the wheel openings were designed for.

On my '71 charger: front 255/60-15 on 15X8, Rear 275/60-15 on 15X8. I have manual steer so at crawling speeds it can be harder to steer. Increase speed slightly and no issue.

A rather large tire will fit these cars. I have a 30x9x15 mounted on 8.5" wide wheels with 5" back spacing. No tire rub. On the front I run a 29" tall tire with a 4" back spacing.
