Snapped this pic of my brother's '65 Mustang last night while we were moving his cars into his new shop. Really happy with how it came out, so I figured I would share. Not a Mopar so I figured General was the best spot for this.

At least they are all fastbacks/Sport roofs, not coupes :carrot:

In the mid 70's I had a 65 and 66 FB's along with 3 first gen coupes. The coupes were for flipping and the FB's were to keep....just wasn't happy with what broke on the 66 but the 65 was good.
Looks to be a 67....I like those too! They had a bit larger engine bay than the 68's. Their shock towers took up too much room!

I like all the fastbacks from 65-70 & the verts are cool... Coupes some are cool, most aren't... But these days when I hear about a Mustang on a Mopar site I expect to see an action shot.... Mustangs doing what they are known for....

Mustangs are all fitted with "Rhubard Magnets" these days.

My 66 in the early 80s
Small block , 4 spd , 9"
It would run upper 7s low8s in the 1/8
90s mph

hmmm. all these buddy stories are kinda like "asking for a friend."
I had one and it was a rocket. There is nothing wrong with Mustangs. I post classic cars and it was a big player in the war on muscle cars. The popularity of pony cars is largely due to the launch of the 1964 Mustang.

Power to weight ratio is huge. Love me some Mopar power, but I do plan to have a mustang at some point. Either a 65 coupe, as light as possible with a spicy 289 in it, or (if budget magically allows) a 67, 68 or 69 fastback in more complete trim with some form of 302/351
