Can you change a push button 727 trans in a 64 to be used in a 65 with a colume or floor shifter? Have a pretty built trans. Out of a 64 that has been changed over to slip yoke and looking to see if I can use it in one of my it's.
Solid straight body the only rust is on the floor seen in pics. It has been painted plum crazy in the engine department plumbed with dual master cylinder and disc brakes on the front. It has a Chris Alston back half with a Dana 60 and a spool. 15" x 15" Weld wheels on the back I believe the...
1965 Plymouth Belvedere altered wheelbase. It was supposedly raced with a fuel injected Hemi at one time? Fiberglass fenders and bumpers. 8-3/4" rearend. I have a clean title in my name. have the front headlight bezels and a fair share of parts. I know the pics are terible but what I had .This...
pnora, you had something interesting. I have installed the blue 12V hot from the inginition switch with the blue wire from the box togetherthen attached them to the ballast resistor. The other side of the bastast resistor has a wire tothe positive on the distributor attached to a 12V only in...
Yes the unilite was. When I look at a wiring diagram it looks like the blue wire from the balast resistor goes back to the voltage regulator on a stock mopar alternator. The intall directions say the blue wire is the keyed hot 12v. I tested it and it is but as soon as you start cranking the...
Wanting to install a Mopar performance electronic distributor in a 360 but it has a single wire alternator. Do I need to wire or do anything different than what's on the directions. It has a Mallory Unilite in it now. Thanks for the post!
Yes I had a 65 dart with one it was a super fun car and drove well with a small block. I just don't like the look of there narrow springs and tube axle. The I- beams look out of the day and I want to run wider and longer springs for a better ride.
Does anyone know the track width of the A-100 axle compared to the stock track width of a 65 Plymouth Belvedere? I heard they need to be cut and that they are the same? I'm also looking for a good brake source and king pins exc. I would rather go this route in my altered wheelbase 65. I want to...
I believe that this one was out of Dragster really short axles. Im thinking about getting some new axle tubes made and putting it in a 65 Altered wheelbase I,m working on. It is really light weight but heavy duty.
