    Non car people be like

I learned long ago, any discussion started by non-car people about my car hobbies yields a brief answer followed by a change of subject. It works out best for all.

    Household LED Bulb Failure

Honestly, I think there was some kind of flaw with the first shop LEDs I used. When the first one went out I looked to replace it in kind but the manufacturer had already vanished. I'm having better luck with the replacement brand .....so far.

    Any Driveway Mechanics?

Garages/shop are for hot rods and there has never been an available space for a driver, so all maintenance on them has always been done outside. As I change oil on wet 40 degree concrete, I always find myself thinking "why the hell am I out here?", but nothing has ever changed. That said, I have...

    Household LED Bulb Failure

We have been hoodwinked on lifespan claims. Half of my new LED shop lights died within 4 years. Last year I upgraded the high ceiling lights in my moth-in-laws place so I would never have to change them again..... nope. Half of them are dead within one year. It's hot there, but still.... 1 year?

Anyone going drone hunting at night?

I would not go blasting firearms into the air, but I have a really nice pellet rifle I would like to get some more practice with.

    The Price of Restoration

I don't think people selling their cars and parts for prices that people will pay as "greed". Does he expect people to sell things for less than market value? In that case, a flipper just gobbles it up and sells it for the market price. At any rate, the bits and pieces of this hobby have gotten...

My first trip to a weed dispensary.

Since I don't have to worry about being fired for failing a pee test anymore, I occasionally take a 5mg edible gummy for back pain. I don't believe they actually relieve much pain, but it makes it so that I can fall asleep. Good luck. Hope they work out for you.

    Cars Found In The Woods.

Yup. The rear window / C-pillar a bit of a clue as the year range. There wasn't anything much to identify it further.

    Cars Found In The Woods.

How about in the river...... in the woods. Stumbled across it last week on a hike. Who can identify it first?

Bright Lights, Big city, BIG PROBLEMS.

As annoying as it is in the City, light from street lights, parking lots, homes, and other cars allows you to somewhat see past it. Where I'm at, it's forested unlit county roads and when these things are coming at you its impossible to see anything past them. You just focus on the fog line to...

Anyone else like to live far from other people?

All other people, no. Most other people, yes. There is a lot to be said for at least some level of convenience to food, beer, and car parts.

    Little House On The Prairie

Not me, but my Dad. Also rural MN. He went to a one room school house and would walk there and stay through class with his sister who was 2 years older. He was smart.... so they just moved him into her grade and he graduated from school at 15. His farmhouse and the school had no indoor...

Racecar Lettering - but not paint

As long as you have good paint, wax it well and just apply regular vinyl decals. Remove slowly while heating with a heat gun. The longer you leave them on and the more sun they get, the harder they are to remove.

Movies and series in Spanish you may like.

Watched this just a couple of days ago. It was quite different than most of the run-of-the-mill American movies that have completely predictable story lines and just count on special effects to mesmerize you.

Crager Wheels and tires, 71 Charger SE – keep or replace?

Oval holes = unilug pattern. I would not pay to have them restored. Clean them up the best you can, add some chrome polish, and bolt them on.
