The “security” aspect is important. I had more than a battery disappear….I had an entire air grabber hood get stolen! I have seen people put small locks instead of cotter pins into the hood pin holes. You can also chains down the hood and use a larger lock

Those look like the polished castings summit sells. I've got a pair of the same , but as -cast finish, the ones they don't list anymore.

I had torque boxes added to my 67 GTX during the restoration process. I believe they were bought through Roseville but not sure about the part number.

Rustoleum "textured" black - available at Walmart is a PERFECT match. Because you don't want the finish too coarse its best to coat the frame first with a flat or satin finish - either or. Then lay on a single coat of the textured. Bingo - done! Or you can take other advice, **** around trying...
