Although the FAA required only the center fuel tanks to be nitrogen purged, Boeing decided to do all their tanks on the 787 because the composite wings didn't cool down as fast as aluminum wings.

Hood Pins : What Where When and Why?

When I was still daily driving my A12, I replaced two of the hoodpins with aftermarket pins with a bigger thru-hole, and replaced the hairpins with padlocks. Must have worked. I've still got my hood. I used four pins on my gutted steel Cortina hood. It never went anywhere either at 130.

    To poly the leaf springs...

That's basically how my Hotchkis springs came, poly on one end, rubber on the other.

    Lower control arm stiffening plates?

Funny you mention KYB shocks. I have them on my Road Runner. I think they ride too soft.

Looking for correct oil pan gasket

I honestly do not care for the Superformance - particularly if you have to use one on either side of a windage tray. If you DO use them you absolutely MUST use sealant on both sides of each or they WILL leak. Do NOT use silicone, use a proper gasket sealant - usually black or red stuff.

    To poly the leaf springs...

I go with poly whenever I can for the durability. Changing out bushings is a PITA. A little more harsh ride? Absolutely. Big horsepower in an old Mopar muscle car a little harsh? Absolutely. Driving the combination of the two is harsh. That's the fun of it for me. Get a helmet. :p Drive the...

    Interior Color Code?

The interior color codes have always been kind of a bitch to figure out. Go with what R413 says above. Perhaps buy a little and shoot a scrap panel to verify color.

All new commercial a/c have nitrogen systems to keep the fuel tanks purged of oxygen. The system takes nitrogen from the outside air. This all came from the TWA 747 going down out of NYC.
