I have 275/60/15 on 15x8 4.5bs on my stock 65 coronet. I have to keep air in the rear shocks or I do get rub around turns on the inside of the quarter.
Part stalker is correct. 64 Plymouth instrument cluster and shifter/heater plates with 65 Coronet glove box and bezel. All Canadian 64 B Bodies had the 64 Plymouth Round Gauge cluster. 65 Coronet was not available in Canada either. US only.
Right on. my current poly pump is leaking. It was rebuilt but is leaking again. Thats why I want to go to the newer pump. I have a pump off a 74 Monaco now so I think I'll just get an adapter fitting and use my own hoses.
Doing Poly to 360 swap in my 65 coronet and I need to change power steering pumps. I don't want to change the box. What is the easiest set up for lines and box fittings? I also don't want to change the front timing cover etc from the poly to the 360.
Pretty sure The wheels have a different dish on them. Look similiar but the chrome wont fit. What colour is the coronet wheel? I'm on the hunt for a blue one. I have a 64 Sport Fury wheel in mine right now. Looks a bit odd though.
Any chance we can see "page 19" lol? I'm doing a Poly to 360 swap and im not sure what I'll be into for the motor mount. its in a 65 Coronet by the way.
looking at tossing a 360 into my 65 as a placeholder while I decide whether to replace the poly permanent or rebuild it. it would be a roughly 300 horse commando crate engine going in. What manifolds are the best fit? Headers are not gonna happen.
Blue smoke on startup, I'd look at the valve seals first not necessarily the seats. Pull the valve covers and look for pieces of seal. They can be fixed with an on head spring compressor and an air fitting for the plug hole.
Put your front stands under the front K frame or suspension if you can. That way the weight stays where it's supposed to. If you put the stands under the frame behind the wheels, the nose will flex.
How the heck do you get the chrome drip rail trim off of a 64/65 Plymouth belvedere Hardtop? I have everything off except the pieces over the doors. I know they are clipped on and I don't want to damage them. All the screws and the window track stuff is off. Even the pieces that run down the 1/4...
Rears will be fine. That's what I had on my 64 Belvedere. Not sure on the front. I think I had a 6 inch wheel on it. It may catch at the front lower part of the wheel opening with that much backspacing and a 235 tire. On my current 65 Coronet I think I went with a 7 inch, 3 7/8 backspace on the...
Looking for any info that might be out there on a 69 440 Six Pack Bee. Was one of 3 sold new east of Quebec. VIN WM21M9A271400. Last seen in the 80's in British Columbia. Not currently in any registries.
I have bought a max wedge scoop from one of the manufacturers, It was pretty decent, Based on it, I recommended to a the same company for their hood and scoop for a 64 Dodge. when I saw the car the next summer I was pretty disappointed in what I saw. The hood was over an inch too short. In order...
It is a car that the owner did up that way. Not real deal. I think it was a barn find that he did up. He liked the superstock vibe. There was an article in Mopar Collectors Guide a few years ago on it.
I'm converting my 318 Poly to 4 bbl in my 65. Now my accelerator cable is about 2 inches too short. What have other guys done other than buying a Lokar setup? I want something simple that won't like some Bosephus just cobbled it up. (Although that is in fact what will happen...)
