The 84 D150 is a "Miser" model with a slant six and 4 speed overdrive. It has been a long drawn out project, started by me and idea sold to my Son. The truck initially intrigued me a few years ago with it's drivetrain, a combo I hadn't experienced yet, and the body wasn't so bad that a guy was...
A couple of stories.
1974 a friends father who didn’t really believe in following peoples belief in being sheep.
Wanted to purchase a fur coat for his wife for Christmas. Went to the local fur coat people, and asked about purchasing one. Owner said come back when you can afford it. City of...
@Rob'68Net, seeing that you are in Johnstown, PA. drive over to Quirey Quality Design over in Windber and pick up the lower bearing. QQD is the manufacturer of the bearings.

Thanks for...
How did we ever do this **** without the internet. I'm talking about the period between the parts store not having it and no internet.
Word of mouth, a good network of buddies and salvage yards. Allot more work back then.
I made up a plug with the new crimper and terminals I received today, I should have got that set up years ago. So much nicer and even easier to use, a win/win.
Great question. My main motive was cleanliness of the engine / engine compartment.
Mechanical is far more reliable for sure. But if I decide to go to injection I have the pump to handle it. Figured better to have the pressure and not need it than to need it and not have it.
If the electric one...
