I may be mistaken, but I believe that manufacturers are now only required to provide OEM parts for 5yrs after manufacture. If this is the case, then acquiring parts like this after warranty may be an issue if the design doesn't survive more than an iteration or two.

One of my fondest memories of the Outback was cruising down the highway in my Holden Commodore just after sunrise and coming upon a couple of camels plodding along the road ahead of me. It's truly a magical place.
