One of my fondest memories of the Outback was cruising down the highway in my Holden Commodore just after sunrise and coming upon a couple of camels plodding along the road ahead of me. It's truly a magical place.

Yes, an invasive species introduced early last century and then released to the wild after the car became popular. The perfect environment for them to thrive.

Why oh why did these little punk arsonists ruin the continent???? What were they bored??? Had nothing better to do?????
Maybe they should have spent some time in SCHOOL --- developing brain cells and cultivating intelligence.
In a science laboratory, you could learn what a fire does in a controlled environment, if they didn't know.

What a crying shame....Stupid doesn't get much more pathetic than their actions.
Our hearts bleed for our brothers and sisters down under, and thank so many of you who came to the rescue of all the animals in your wonderful country!!!!!!

This pales in comparison.... But now (I am a big sports and tennis fan) , the air quality is so bad, that the Australian Open may be compromised.... To be determined....
