Ok I will jump in here since I think I can offer you some ideas (or maybe some inspiration).
I built my clone back in 1992 from a base model 70 Road Runner 383 4 speed coupe or "post" car - not the correct hardtop model. It took me about 5 years to collect the correct wing, steel nose and such...
Contact Dick at Firmfeel.co. They sell a replacement B body rear end link for the factory sway bars. i am not sure of the overall length vs the 75 up bars - but is it a very stout piece and if it breaks or rust, you show get some kind of award! LOL .
I have an 8 3/4 rear axle for a 71 or 72 B body.
spring perches 47 inches apart
Backing plate mounting flange to flange in 57 3/4

Still have the " D" shaped jack for sale date code " 9L " ( 12 - 69) with a " D " shaped base included for free. However, the jack does not sit straight up and down in the base - it leans away from the car at about a 30 degree angle. Don't think that is correct but I will include the base for...
Well I will chime in here since for once I can speak from experience.
I have a Superbird clone that I have owned for 23 years. I started exactly as you friends - 383 4 speed post car. IT still has the post. I have the parts to convert it. It has an original wing and nose cone.
I did not do...

No there is no part number only "lyons trim" and FEB but no year.
As I said, I bought these listed as a 74 model - did not know they would not fit my 72 ( I know, because I tried).
Thanks
I bought these thinking that they would fit my 1972 Charger but I found out that they did not due to different mounting clip locations on the back side.
I was did not know about the difference or I would have waited for some 72's. I do not have any with woodgrain for sale. Perhaps someone...
I bought these here from a member a few years ago and they came from a 74 (so I was told).
I am sending you a PM on price of shipping to 18512
Thanks! Look for PM message.
I have 2 front and one left rear blue door panels for sale.
The front panels are very very nice no damage on the front of the panels. The back sides have no water damage - 2 or 3 of the mounting holes are worn but the still fit the car just fine.
The rear panel is also in good shape...
Hello,
I just went through this on my '70 Road Runner - it turned out to be a bad brand new NAPA gold Fuel filter. It was completely blocked off right out of the box! After disconnecting all my fuel lines , blowing them out with compressed air, new fuel tank, sending unit and rubber lines...
I just installed a repro tank in my 70 Runner a few months ago... agree that nuts seem to tighten up for ever but did snug up fine. I also thought the straps had "grown" but they did fit.
Good luck
JON

Step back, say a prayer, walk around a few minutes (or days) and come back to it.. you will get it!
Godspeed,
