You obviously are not a forum oldie. Bump is a VERY common term used to denote that a thread has been renewed and moved to the top of the list. This has been going on for decades. Where have you been?
OK. You've seen my posts and my ad. We spent $50K to put this GTX in the condition it is in. There are things that are not correct for a 100 point restoration. I have advertised this on E-bay and Carsforsale.com. Not getting any action. I need to get this sold. What price will get it in that...
Gov Moonbeam (dipshit-CA) just gave away a whole bunch of money to illegals. Guess who's going to pay for it? The state is already on the verge of bankruptcy, so I guess anything is a likely target for increased taxes. Like classic cars.
When I get my step-side, I'll be coming to you for any bodywork. You obviously have a great feel for getting it right. Nice to see that kind of quality today.
Drunken bodymen? Surely you jest! (20 years in the autobody field). I had a total stoner working for me who couldn't be trusted with the most basic of repairs..... until a 53 Packard came in with fender damage. Stoner was up so he got it. And he METAL FINISHED the fender!!!!!! Unbelievable! The...
At car shows, I'll talk to any and everyone, 17 or 75. Actually 17 is a bonus. If you look and sound like you are interested in older cars, I'll talk to you until your ears fall off! I LOVE getting younger guys hooked on the hobby. I used to have the opinion that I wouldn't own a car older than...
I'm seeing a lot of "it's up to the buyer to know the difference" answers. No, it's not. It is up to the seller to divulge all info about the car. This is exactly why I posted this. There a lot of cheaters out there.
OG max wedge, you get it. And you have one helluva nice car!
OK, reality time. We ALL personalize our rides. Where is the line between something you like and want, and being deceptive. If I owned a 67 GTX (hey, I do!) and started seeing a bunch of "clones" degrading the market, how should I...
I'm seeing many, many cars listed as "clones". When I was a younger pup (and dinosaurs walked the earth) this was considered fraudulent. Any twit can buy badges/ stripe kits and try to fool a buyer. I'll bet billions of "SS" badges have been sold by GM parts.
I'm going to risk alienating you...
Dan, very nice project. Do you know any of the history of the car? Just curious about the "43" on the doors. Someone's idea of a tribute, or did you fall into something special?
Congrats! Sure is refreshing to hear that you want to work and have some real goals. I'd put you to work today, but the commute would be a bit rough. I have a very difficult time finding anyone who wants to work. Seems most would rather collect unemployment so they can stay home and smoke weed...
Thank you all. I really appreciate the input. I started off asking $35k. I see that that is rather optimistic now.
Further discussions with my wife/ car owner reveal that this was never intended to be a full-on resto, rather a really nice weekend driver. Hence the lack of correctness. And the...
Yes, I have driven it. Only issue I know of is that the brake lights aren't currently working (all other lights work....maybe the brake light switch?). Everything else works as it should. Engine is strong, trans shifts properly, no noises.
I guess from what the members have pointed out, that...
Fully restored (pending the critiques from the forum experts) 67 GTX 440.
Many, many pics here:

This X has been sitting in storage for 7 years after the resto. We take it out now and then to...
