I will ask the previous owner - i just purchased this beautyTough question.. let's throw the ball back in your court.
What's your current finish line RPM.
not on a legal track, but many times back in the country on quiet backroadsHave you ever raced before.
Step 1 would be go to the track and recreate the 11.93not on a legal track, but many times back in the country on quiet backroads
It all depends on a few things. Tire size, Trans type (Manual or Auto) convertor stall, trans cooler and how much you'll tolerate. That tire in the image looks rather tall and wide, so 410's would not give anymore stress. Thanks guys, ohh I know about the mileage - lol, jus needed a lil knowledge from the pros - thank u again
And still yet 3.55 suck on a highway drive. That’s why I have 2 overdrives lolI'm sure John is spot on... But you'd also lose the ability to jump on the freeway for a longer cruise....... Well, not really, depends on how much listening to your engine spinning along at 3800+ rpm's you can tolerate.... Back in the 70's & 80's I did a few 500+ mile drives in a Challenger with a 440+6 & 4.10 gears.... These days I doubt I could do it again.... Though I must admit I still like having 4.30's in one of my Challengers... But it has O/D so it's fine on the freeway...View attachment 1472332
