1940,s Dodge Trucks. I had no clue!!!

Here's my 1940 Plymouth.
The front grille was trashed
as this truck lived it's life on a
ranch in NM. We used an old
set of patio furniture to
rebuild the grille.
It never saw asphalt except
when driven to the ranch
from the dealership.
The frame was bent and
twisted. Replaced it with a
custom tube chassis with
8" taken out of the
wheelbase, shortened the
rear fenders and running
boards to get the proportions
right, and built a 6' bed for
it.

Remember the A100 COE pickups of the 60's? They were made with both 3 and 5 window cabs....not sure but 70 was the last year for them?
A100 made from 1965-70 - available in 3 or 5 window versions.

Found out today that around 3,194 A100 pickups were built in 1964 with a price tag of just under $2,000.

My first classic car was a '41 Plymouth Deluxe 4 dr. and still one of my favorite year Plymouths. I always wanted a '41 Plymouth pickup. BTW they were made from '37 to '41
