Real nice job on 2 1/2" X pipes, the whole under cartridge is awesome,,,,Do the electric valve dumps leak or do they seal fine??I guess it depends on where you live on the Island, but is it a problem to keep your Mopar rust free?It looks soooo clean!

I remember you 63SPF, speedo gear working great. Ah...you got some heavy tricked up BB motor as I recall in your ride. Must not take long getting between one end to other of the island!
Jim, a nice shop in AZ? What's the plan spending the winter there w/o your Plymouth? I'd bet your wife might find taking it agreeable if you whine enough...has worked with my missus...lol.

Great come back, I opened that up nicely....good luck!

Aloha, My Electric cuts out work great with no leaks as of yet. It takes around 4 hrs. to drive around the Big island . Seedo gear is working fantastic . Keeps the cops off my back. Ha Ha . So we are having the Iron Man triathlon to Today, I drove my Vert down the main strip yesterday. We call Ali'i Drive and the town is full of tourists and triathletes. probably close to 5000 people. So as I'm cruzing they start asking me to turn the tires a little . So me , being me I burn a little rubber for a few minutes and smoke out about 200 people. and of course about 75ft away there's 2 cops watching the whole thing. I'm Busted !!! I don't know how, but for some reason they let me go. Laughing and saying they never saw a car put out so much tire smoke. N50/15's and around 500 hp. That's why I'm Mopar or No car for life.

Hi,,it is so inspiring to see the poly head engines, some stock, some slightly modified and some all out 10 sec 1/4 mile er's.I lived back in the day when these early b bodies were on the street and strip on the west coast big time,US & Can and can not remember hopping up the 318's,maybe headers and dumps,. we mostly just went for the big wedge motors if we wanted big power or just ran the poly's stock, which were still beating most chevs and ford's with less cubic inch. But maybe my memory is wrong!!I also have a 313(can) poly ,added 4barrel and dual exhausts,no wheel stander ,but still surprisingly go go and more go for a basic stock engine(well engineered)and nice to hear from you guys that also share this strange passion !!!

It's amazing the equipment that is available for the A engine nowadays!

To my bro in Red Deer,,hope you found this site and enjoy the pics, the 1st picture is at Midnite at the Oasis, the same day you were there!!Went two more years and a nice lady from Yuma really liked the car,and my dear wife of 46 years said yes to selling it,I said,,but, but, but, but still went bye, bye! This lady had a large room full of pictures and memories of Elvis and I think every record he made,so yes the Fury will be in good hands.Keep in touch. we are heading down to our winter home in Salome Az,Nov 1st till mid April 2017.Cheers,jim

Hey all, this is a great thread...nice to see what other 63's are out there.

I was looking for a 2dr 63 or 64 but stumbled across this very unique 63 4drht that's still in pretty good shape and a good driver. It came with the original (?) 361 Commando that's been recently rebuilt and runs strong, push button 727,8 3/4 with highway gears.
Lots of options on the car including PS,deluxe steering wheel, clock,AM radio, and a power seat that still works.
It appears to have very few owners as it came with what looks like the original owners manual and other old paperwork along the buildsheet.

I didn't get much history on the car as I found it on a car lot but if anyone in the PNW knows the car,any info would be great to have.

Hi,fj5,,I made the change to 4dr Fury, the one in the pic 'looks great. As you may know, the easy way to tell if it is US or Can made is the SS trim that separates the roof from back 1/4 fender, the one in your picture is American, See(can) 4dr at beginning of this site, most Canadian cars were two tone and this trim made the separation.Hard to tell on pic,but looks like Golden Commando badge on fender, the motor is a good find, and being in Victoria, should be garage kept ?MY sister and brother-in-law live there!CHEERS

Hey,I love your 63's (past and present) and thanks for the info about the Canadian and US cars,I can't recall ever seeing a Canadian 63 Plymouth before I saw yours but now I'll know what to look for.Is the two tone only on Furys? or is it the same on Savoy's and Belvedere's as well?

As you guessed,my car is an American model.I bought it in Wenatchee Washington on a car lot there a couple weeks ago.The car was titled in Portland Oregon and was apparently there for several years but it might have originally come from Yakima Washington.I was hoping someone on here might recognize the car and help me fill in the blanks. It definitely spent a lot of time in a dry climate as the car is clean and solid throughout.

I've never seen a 361 Commando badge until I saw the ones on this car.I think they look great under the 'Fury' script on the front fender.
I now have the car stored safely indoors for the winter where I'll be working on it from time to time.If you're out this way,let me know and I can show you the car if you're interested.
