1963 or 64 bolt on hood or scoop

What intake are you running? The one I am buying has a m1 and the hood won't close. That's why I am going with a hood scoop. Is yours painted in 63 red?

The only scoop to put on that car is a 63/64 Max Wedge scoop as per Super-Be Ski's pic's, Not such a thing as a hemi 63

:eusa_whistle:I know a few with blown hemi's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:pimp:

Hemi!,
Did I see you "BABY" at Carlisle last July??
AWSOME

Originally I ran a stock height max wedge hood scoop but soon found out that its too low to provide much ram effect.... i have since gone with the same scoop with added height and it works great...

I'm running a super Victor intake and 1050 Dominator with an air cleaner and the whole assembly is sealed to the bottom of the hood.....works nice..

I vote for the 65 Hemi Scoop. Got mine from Kramer Auto. Sorry for the crappy photo. I plan on using the same on my 63 Belvedere.

Sled City Fiberglass makes all the Hemi and Max Wedge scoops in different heights. They are all bolt on and have a warranty against blow off and cracking.

I bought mine at AAR Fiberglass, very nice quality. Actually, the stock height of the max wedge scoop gives you somewhere around 1"-1 1/2 " additional clearance. Then of course you can buy other height s as well. It's your car, do what looks good to you, and what functions for you...
