I just went thru the build, that was a awesome....man that gives me lots of motivation on my 64 hardtop...I bet it is a blast to drive down the road....I can't wait to get to that point on my build...

Hi Crumley, thanks for the compliment! Yes it's a head turner for sure and definitely a fun ride. Looking forward to lots of enjoyment with the old girl, whether its to some sort of cruise or on the strip Keep moving forward on the hardtop and you'll be done in no time!
Thanks.

Awesome, the car looks fantastic. Well done. Congrats. :wav:

Thanks Riverdawg! I appreciate your compliment Sir. Yes it turned out pretty good and it was a fun build all the way through.

Awesome build. Just the type of vibe I like, what sounds like big power, and not overdone. Great job and persistence getting it done. Too bad you only have a 1 month season to cruise out there in Saskatchewan ;). Could be worse, I thought I saw a weather report for Newfoundland that showed 0 deg.

LOL - about the weather report 66! Thanks for the compliment on the Plymouth too! The goal in mind with the Plymouth was to be able to jump in and go for the ocassional cruise (weather permitting - ha) or load up and go make some passes. Not looking to set any records but a mid 10 second pass with some air is the target.
Thanks!

Man did that come out sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job!

Hey 747. Thanks for the compliment! It turned out pretty darned good. I have a few things to do still and some fine tuning but that will come. Sure do appreciate the advise from all of you guys along the way!

It's been several months since I posted on the Plymouth, mostly because the project is pretty much complete and it was time to enjoy. Recently I did fabricate a shroud for the fan though. I started out with an electric fan but I was seeing temps getting up in the 200 to 210 range. I switched over to a 19" clutch fan and the temp never got past 185. I'm expecting it to run even cooler with the new shroud. The next item on the agenda is to either have a custom cam ground for this stroker or build another short block with more compression. If anyone has some specs on a solid roller cam that will let this 526 with 10.5CR breath shoot them my way. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Very nice work on the shroud.
