Ok, I purchased 2 AWG cable at a welding shop in my neighborhood, I'm going to make my own cables versus buying them already made. I want the look of original so I'm using the welding cable because it's rubber insulated. I got 46 feet. 2 20' foot for the 2 positive cables and 2 3' foot for 2 negative cables.

It looks great.
Consider using one each of the copper cables 1-Positive 1-Negative.
Steel is not nearly as good a conductor as copper.
A single welding cable like you have should work fine to power the starter.
You can still use the shorter cables as secondary grounds.

Mounted the dash board today along with the front calipers and pads, I'm using the original 14 x 5 rims with this setup, mounted the PST 16:1 manual steering great box and pitman arm

Mounter the ground lug to the floor using a 1/4 copper sandwiched between the floor, and crimped the ends on

Yes, When I went to Carlisle last year there was an Original 64 max wedge there and I took pictures of the trunk and battery cables. The positive cables came out from the insulator pad mounting hole just above the hole for the clutch pedal rod on a manual transmission car then go straight to the starter,Hemi car had a junction block mounted in front then went to starter motor I think.i just made the hole bigger and used a heater firewall grommet to run the positive cables through. It's hard to find it written on how they routed the cables,but looking at original cars this is what I found.

Today I ran the felt in the wind wing channel, glued in and wedge a molding in it slightly thicker then the glass and let it sit over night to dry then cut excess off(Thanks to Joe S. advise) worked great nice and clean and solid. Then installed both the wind wings. Believe it or not those are the original wind wings,glass and seals just cleaned them up, they look brand new. Lol!
