Hello everyone,
First post and many more to come. Purchased my first Mopar and converted myself from chevrolet! Im going to be swapping in a 383 into my 66 Coronet. It originally came with a 318 Poly. I have a radiator that came with the car. I do not know if it is original. The number on the radiator is 1903353 AB, which i have been unable to cross with anything. The outlet is on the far left side or driver side and the inlet is between the middle and right side of the radiator. It is a 22 inch. I have a shop around me that can recore for a big block, so im curious can I make this work??? The inlet measures at 1.5" and outlet measures 1.75" If it doesnt work ... I came across Champion radiators. If I was to buy their 22" 3 row, will the hoses line up?

there is too much to discuss in a simple reply but your rad is a 1960 application. with out seeing it, it is had to tell if it has been modified with later brackets to fit your car. orignal brackets wouldn fit your car, and the drain likely is on bottom of tank.

your correct 22" rad for a BB at is 2582946, which I happen to have the tanks and brackets. You will need to have a good rad shop build around a new copper core. The upper tank has the hose on outside right, not centered.

Just put a champion 22" core in my 66 coronet that is basically the same thing as what you're doing. I have yet to see water temp above 200 even in stop and go traffic midday. It without any mod's to car (had to cut out the bottom bolt slots on the radiator bracket about 1/2") and hoses fit fine. Might suggest a swedge for the lower hose as it's a fair amount larger than the outlet on the radiator (same issue with the Mopar radiator I replaced.)
