1967 Coronet 500 - Billings Montana

Can you describe the disk brakes your using? Thanks!

The probe pistons that Jim wanted to use on my motor build are 6-8 weeks out, so instead of wait we went with the 82008 Ross Forged Pistons.

He should start building the motor next week. :hello2:

I got some disc brakes installed on the K member today, moving along on this build.

Been out tearing up the streets?

YES! Big car weekend here in Billings, finally got most of the little bugs worked out, drove the car around for 3 hours this afternoon, tons of fun and thumbs ups, car is running great.

Here are the brakes I used: http://www.doctordiff.com/10.95-front-disc-brake-kit.html

Lots of guys here are using these, a good deal for the money and an easy install.

That's great to hear MT, glad your getting to enjoy it.:hello2:

spooky...

The picture of your front floor before fixing is a red ringer for my 67 floor that i pulled the carpet off of today.

No A/C here, I did see on yours that huge tranny cooler. Cool... hehe

trans cooler

Yes it has the 26 inch radiator frame and the huge cooler. This car was bought new in NC but the folks I got it from purchased it out of TX. I guess it got put on then. The broadcast sheet didn't say anything about it. It's gonna be great when that 440 gets to heating up!

I get envious of the air conditioning but never think about it until about June! lol, Something i hope to remedy someday.. It sounds like the temp is ok and it looks like your covered for cool....

It's been snowing here all day, quality shop time.

Picked up some Mickey Thompson VC's a while back and got around to installing them this weekend, they look pretty good. I am working on some custom breathers for this setup.

Also did some work on my spare hood. I cut a hole and installed some pin hardware getting ready to finish and paint.

That is going to be a cool looking and already sounding COOL!!! You have everything looking good and that scoop on there, she will breath much better, lol maybe you'll have to be a bit lighter on that gas pedal ummmm... :)

You had me worried for a second with that filter sticking out of the hood but then I saw the scoop "much better". Just got a little meaner looking!
