Does the coil overs come with springs? I’m thinking out loud here, but since your old ones were too long they had matching springs, so the shorter coil overs may not work correctly with those springs. Talk to the people your ordering from and see what advice they have.

Yes they come with springs,
I need longer coilovers, the current ones are too short. I spoke with Viking on Thursday they wanted 3 measurements so I got those for them and sent them off. Waiting for a call back. I’ll let you know what they say

This is the set I was sent in my street lynx kit, with the shock fully extended I can’t even get the hat on to secure the spring. I looked up the part numbers and the shock i was sent calls for a 9” spring, the one in the picture is a 12” spring. Since my measurements came up about 3” different than what I currently have I’m betting Viking comes back to me with a shock that calls for a 12” spring like I have here. Good news I might save a couple bucks there since I have the spring. Also I want to upgrade to the thrust bearings this time around.

Well had a call with PST a little while ago, got my order in for a set of custom Viking crusader coilovers with drag race valving. I worked with jake at Viking and James at PST to spec them out. Big thanks to both of them they were great to work with

I’ve decided to re wire the car and eliminate the bulkhead. Thinking of running this fuse block from painless. I’m basically only going to be using the factory harness for headlights, taillights, flashers etc. What are you guys using?

I have the fuse blocks for the Audi. They have extra spaces so I hope to use them for original stuff. Might need a third block, we will see. At any rate they will under the dash. The pass through will be above the trans in the center of the tunnel under the firewall.

Got the new shocks in today, very nice. Crusader series with drag race valving. Shoutout to @PST for assisting with the order.

I’m bringing the coronet home to work on, gotta clean up my garage. Too hard for me to get over there and put in the time it needs and still have time with the family. Gotta get some tires for the trailer, garage cleaned up and some new tools and she’s coming home where more progress can be made.
