1968 Road Runner

I'm thinking about going hot rod black on the car until I'm ready for paint. I'm doing more of a resto mod but I want the original paint and interior. Rr2 burgundy with d4s silver black interior.

that should be sharp

I just found a "Right Stuff" Kit on ebay for under $400 so I ran with it. They look good, but I do intend to do all 4 Wilwood, if I don;t find an original set out of a b body. After my last search, i don't think that's gonna happen!

Good luck.

Great project I'm looking forward to watching the progress. Best of luck.

cool project

That's a 69 grille as well- and I think the hood is a 69 (airgrabber holes). Looks like a solid car- glad to see another bird coming back to life!

:iamwithstupid: sounds like a Great Idea... I'm doing the same thing on my 68 RR RM23, it's ultra flat black instead of hot rod black, has all black interior too... I even tried to do some graphics/striping type ideas on the unfinished product to see what I like, mine will be when done the original LL1 "Surf" Turquoise Medium Dark Poly Metallic, but with Lower body below the body lines, black with red accent stripes, like in the photos, kind of like a GTX sort of...

Looks much better! How's the bodywork coming along?

He hasn't gotten to the body yet. He got backed up. Sometimes it's the small things in life. LOL

I like it, looks good. I was thinking I may become attached to the Hot Rod Black. I'm going to use black steel 17s for wheels.

sound like a plan... I'm surprised how many people have liked mine in flat black... I hope it's as well received in it's original LL1, w/black & red accents, when I finally get around to it...
