I recently rewired my 1969 coronet with a autowire harness. One of the last items in working on is the low speed setting on the wipers. Does anyone know which wire color combo make the slow speed possible?

One other side note I am trying go to a toggle switch instead of the original switch. I can wire it from the fuse straight to red and get full speed wiper. I just can't seem to tell how to get the slow speed to work
If it is not possible I may just stick to single option full speed.

Already did this, slow goes threw the ballast and to the L terminal so you just need to feed one side of the ballast for slow. The problem with not using a Mopar switch is the park function, in off the original switch will send juice to the park switch in the wiper box (park function is also in low). I used the wiper switch out of a Mopar van/truck which is a simple twist knob and more available.

There are 4 terminals, L (low), H ( high ), P1 & P2 (park switch).

Good question? I just assumed since he only mentions high and low that it was a 2 speed.

I just wasn't sure becausenhe said something about adding a fuse to use a toggle, almost made me think three speed. An in line fuse concerns me because crap happens and if the motor binds and overheats you risk that under the dash new wire fire, or if the fuse goes while he's using the motor you have no wipers when you may well need wipers.. Safety concern there. Can't always find that overpass to park under
