Finally, after 12 years, the passenger door lock finally works with the key. And go figure, I buy brand new door lock rods and lock clip set only to find all the original clips are still intact and the door link rod was laying in the door bottom.

And once again, thanks to DadsBee’s thread I was able to figure out where things go. Helped me realize I had the lock rod in the wrong place initially (Second pic).

Last year when I had my trim panels off, I sprayed everything with ‘fluid film’. Lubes everything,prevents rust and just plain works.(hardware store,etc.)

I love Fluid Film!! Always in my garage. I sprayed everything with PB Blaster.
