1969 Charger R/T resurrection

I've gotten a couple hundred miles on the car and knock on wood, nothing bad to report. Decided to test out the sure-grip to see if I got the rear end together correctly. I have to say that I am really liking the torque this motor has. No need to rev it up and slip the pedal off your foot on this one :3gears:. After driving the Charger around, I have decided that now my Road Runner needs a little more get up and go. Thinking a 451 would be a good winter project for that..........

Guess there are more people around than just my wife that like the looks of a black 69 Charger. First time entered in a car show and it received a peoples choice award. All I heard on the way home was "I told you so" lol.

Very cool Hunt, I've had mine to a couple shows a won awards both times (they gave out awards for the top 50 at a show of 48) hmmmmm..............guess that doesn't count does it haha. Very deserving

i told you so too, the black mirror gonna have a bid collection of those trophy thingys. i bet ya most of them are gonna say first on them. lol....im getting close on mine an still want to make a road trip to see that thing. Belvidere, il show next sunday if you want another trophy. lmao

Thanks guys. I am having a blast driving it around. There are 2 different guys with deep pockets that have approached me that want to buy the car. I guess to me that means I picked a good color combo if I should ever want to sell it.

Yeah you are right about that. This car really did seem to fight me all the way. Funny as time goes by, a guy kind of forgets most of that - good thing too.
