1969 GTX Restoration Moving Along...

Could I get some measurements for the GTX emblem on the rear quarter? I forgot to write that down before I replaced them. right & left please. Thanks! I may have found some OEM wheel moldings, cross your fingers!

I ran the 69 GTX last weekend at BIR. It ran a 13.62 @102mph in very humid air. Typical up there. Stock type camshaft. Ran it on the 35 yr old Poly's. Best 60 ft was 2.1 -Uggh!-- 2 Carter AVS carbs gave me fits up there however. Mash it at the line and the car would quit, until it was very warmed up.

Got pics? What was the ambient temp? Elevation.

Will run much better once the carbs are tuned in, may want to slow the secondaries down a little & maybe more accelorator pump.

temps were typically 80--85 degrees and elevation wth humidity gets around 3800 at BIR,...I think 1200 normally.

I found the problem with off line stumble. I skinnied up metering rods, and this helped. I know of guys who take them out completely for racing on the AVS/AFB type and fill hole with piece of black rubber tubing.

Car weighs 3850 with me in it and 1/2 tank gas. If you guys are looking for normal weights. Just missing the headliner. I weigh anywhere between 186-195 during the summer.
