1969 superbee 383 500+ hp radiator help

hey guys, heres what i have. 69' super bee 383 , 500+ hp ,air conditioning(vintage air), and 4 speed.
no existing radiator. opening in front is for a 22" .
been mostly looking on classic industries for radiators.
my dilema is i have no idea what radiator to get. ive read the posts on here about staying stock of which i am fine doing. but don't know where to get that. when you look on classic industries site for an OER rad. it says for stock application. im taking it that means it will not be enough for my motor? so do i go to a 26" . i do not want to modify front end since it has just been painted. i know there is a kit to change from 22 to 26 but is it worth doing. it seems to me it still would be a 22" opening.
then there is going to an aftermarket aluminum like wizard. of which they seem pretty good. but it doesnt look like they have a inlet and outlet like im guessing i need. but since i am not convinced of which one i need i dont know where to turn. it seems that the inlets and outlets are all over the place for the same dam car. which is right?
so any help would be great.
i do not want to run an electric fan. i want to use a clutch and fan with a shroud. so any help with size, model and where to buy that would be awesome. i am racking my brain with trying to find this info. please help
 
I'm at heart a stock person, but for your application I would go with a Griffin replacement aluminum radiator, they make one that is stock appearing that you can use your stock shroud and fan setup. You will have to paint it with a satin black, chassis black or to your preference. On special orders they put the inlets and outlets where you want them. I have one in my 66 Satellite and 62 Dart. At first glance in the 62 no one realizes it's not an original. On the 66 it was left aluminum for now. The 62 is over 500 HP runs a stock fan & clutch with no shroud. The 66 has a stock 425 HP Gen III Hemi with vintage air. It has computer run dual fans. Neither car runs over 170 degrees at any time. Don't expect to pay inexpensive aluminum radiator prices. With the investment you have in your engine and A/C system or your car in general don't cut corners here. Both my cars are 22" radiators.

Another vote for Glen Ray. I have got many radiators from Bob and was thrilled every time.
 
Great info here. Thanks guys. I think I will be giving Bob a call. He happens to be 45min from my cabin and I'm going there this weekend. Had no idea.

Nothing against Bob but last time I priced a radiator through him it was over $1000... If I had a OE level Hemi Charger I'd probably pony up but I don't... I just need a radiator that keeps my engine cool....
 
The only Factory # I see for '69 B-body, 383 & 440, is 2949053, 4-spd & auto. Contact Bob at Glen-Ray, as he may have one set to go, or build you one. Their product is "2nd to None"...
 
Copper. With shroud and thermal fan, Ma Mopar knew how to cool these motors.
 
If you want to go "stock" I have an 053 x 22" radiator that is recently triple row cored and ready to go. Virtually dent free and darn near concours. $750US plus shipping. PM me if interested.

My two core 053 keeps my purple cam'd 383 right on the 195 stat on a 95F day... can't imagine that this triple core 053 wouldn't do the same for yours! Even has the lugs in place on the mounting brackets to install a shroud if you find the need.

Thanks guys for all the input. I did go to Bob @ Glen-ray. It was expensive but I feel pretty good about what I'm getting. Really nice guy. Gave me quite a bit of info to boot. Now I wait. Lol
