1970 b-body Passenger Mirror Option

Are you allright?

...or are you half left?

Never had a car with right side mirrors and my first vehicle to have one was a pickup. My first car to have a RS mirror was my 71 Cuda but man, it was just so small that I put one of those small spot mirrors on it to help let me know when someone was close to the right rear corner. Even put a 4" spot on the LS mirror on my Belvedere and it fit it like it was made for it.

They look good but don't work all that well.

Guy’s this thread is about mirrors not drinking or orientation…. Or other things mods do.

Oh, please no...
By popular request (or not).....I'll offer my opinion. I believe that all references are related to the DRIVER'S seated position in the vehicle......but....it can be confusing depending on country....like U.K., Africa, Japan etc, whose driver's position is opposite than the US. For example, driving in the U.K. the driver's position is on the RIGHT SIDE of the vehicle.....but the pedal position is the same as the US...clutch, brake gas (left to right)....but shifting is done with the LEFT HAND but std pattern....and most sreering wheel controls are opposite than the US......confusing??...absolutely. There are specific protocols that must be observed when DRIVING on the OPPOSITE SIDE....ALWAYS look RIGHT when entering an intersection; rotarys or round-abouts are rotational specific, depending on one's intended direction. Driving on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD requires acute attention to detail and a definite mind set......especially when traffic is heavy.....shifting, clutching, braking, steering....all without the use of turn signals. So which is the correct reference point: LEFT SIDE (US) or RIGHT SIDE (UK).....it depends on where you are and what you're driving....and where you are sitting in the vehicle.
Sort of the like the other Three Stooge's monologue about which side of the room the nails get applied....as nails are oriented for the LEFT SIDE or RIGHT SIDE of the room.....it depends......confused??...me too...but having survived driving on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD.....it's an experience.....

This thread is four pages long, answering the O/P's question about "Mirror's" might take three or four posts.... So now lets all quit having sense of humor and get this back on track....

Yeah back to business guys! Ok its been determined that I need a mirror. So are any of the repos any good or should I put a wtb add up for an original that may be difficult and expensive to obtain?

That is for a right hand mirror as if your sitting in the car as opposed to standing in front of it…..

Just to simplify; if the car is pointing south, it's the west side door mirror.
