Hello everyone, I just purchased this guy and Im pretty stoked on it. I also posted a thread in the new guy form. literally bought it about 10 hours ago. I feel like I did pretty good on it but Im curious to know what you guys think it is worth based on what you can see. its the 318 with a 727, runs and drives well, no rust except in the trunk. and all the instruments on the dash dont work, including the wipers. So happy to finally have a Mopar. What do you guys think? - John View attachment 147505View attachment 147506View attachment 147507View attachment 147508View attachment 147509View attachment 147510View attachment 147511View attachment 147512

I couldn't guess, Clones are hard to guess on.
But that one you have looks like a darn good driver/keeper

Nice ride, since no ones taking a stab at it, Id say 5500-6k based on your pics with no rust other than trunk floor with small block. The main point being you're happy with it and it sounds that way. What are your plans for it? looking forward to progress pics when you can.

Looks like it needs some cleaning up and used to be blue...LOL
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... if you were comfortable with what you paid and are happy with the car then its a great car !

VIN should indicate what it is but its looks like a decent driver.. someone did a quick paint job on it so who knows what all that is hiding. Looks like a good car to get started on. Fuses are where I would start first and then go from there

Value I would put around 4500-5500 from the pics

Get those Dale Jr. floor mats out of there!!! They definitely hurt they value a lot. It can double in value just by throwing those things as far as you can. Preferably throw them toward the entrance of any local gay bar, they will be appreciated there.

Hmmm, tuff to say....
Uh, it's not worth too much...not at all.....

But hey!
Out of the goodness of my heart I will give you $2,500 CASH and take it off your hands for you..

Tee hee hee....

PS: I LOVE Coronets!

LOL LOL LOL.

lovely looking beastie. Good luck with her dude.

Just joking in previous post. Its worth as much as you want it to be. It is a 1 year only body style so that counts for something. Take care of those grills because you will pay a lot to replace them. Another plus is that its a factory air conditioned car. Check the inside of your trunk & check to see if it has provisional cutouts for a rear wing. I think that was a mid year add on. One other thing I must ask. Is it a factory console car? All the ones I have seen with a console also had the rally gauge package.

wouldn`t worry about value , if it makes you happy and having a good time with then enjoy it :headbang:

I think value also depends on where you are. Just based on location, a car can be worth +/- a couple of grand.

If it is really rust free except for the trunk, then I would have a tendency to be in the upper range of the values suggested here, because body work can eat up a lot of money. Dash stuff (at least for me) is easier to deal with. That is nit picky stuff you can address little by little.

Congratulations on getting your dream car. Mine is a 70 Road Runner and I finally got one, so it is priceless to me. Now (build it) drive it and enjoy it!!!

138066_Front_3-4_Web[1].jpg:buffer:just a little polish here and there new stripes ?

Someone either put the console in or changed the steering column, it's got a gear indicator on it.

Yep, and 75-79 Charger/Cordoba seats (which are quite comfy, BTW).

I wouldn't really call it a clone, either.

Just a stripe and a bit of de-chroming.

I like the black at the bottom.
