Can anyone tell why the needles on my gauges are so far to the left?

Most likely damaged gauges from a voltage limiter that was over powering them. The voltmeter still should work as it is not run by the limiter.

They are running away and hiding from those white faces on the gauges.

I think my Limiter S___ the bed!!! I have a new one from RT on the way. Should they read 21 to 24 Olms if they are good, once they are "overpowered" are they toast or can they be fixed?

At rest, power off? Limiter has nothing to do with where powered down gauge needles rest. More likely physically damaged during the white face and/or volt-meter conversion.

The needles were in the proper position till I was testing the Tanks Inc sending unit, would only show full, as soon as I moved the float off of full position it dropped to empty, I was checking the gauge wiring and shorted the limiter I think

Was a slant 6 - 3 on the tree, 9 passenger with tinted glass. no carpet car so the floor was badly rusted, wheel well were good, rocked minimal rust, the worst was behind the dash where the air vents are, both sides were gone because of mice!!

If you have the OER replacement plastic bezel, their circles (for lack of a better word) are not in the correct places. I took me a few tries and I finally got out the old one and everything lines up. Not sure about your case, but mine had an OER stamp in the bezel and the original has a chrysler stamp. I sent it back to Classic and they took it. But who knows if they've fixed it or not.

Note: Just reread your thread, so maybe I answered a different question, but it looks like your gauges might be off center like mine with the OER bezel.

So, this piece is what I meant by bezel. I guess it is the lens:
141-LEN Mopar 1968-70 B-body Rallye Gauge Lens

They are off on the OER reproductions. Only OEM has the circles in the correct locations, OER, not so much. I can't speak for other reproductions. But the OER one I got a few years back was wrong.

Obvisiously not an origional MOPAR gauge cluster. Whose brand is it? Did you follow the manufacturer's installation instructions? Did you use their sensors or did you just ignore that aspect and decided to use existing sensors? Beside, the white race gauges look cheap and out of place. Are there Dakota Digital or some Chinese stuff because DD usually cost $1500 including the analog to digital converter......you get what you pay for.....in this case, a headache.......just my opinion of course....

It is in fact an orginal 1970 GTX gauge cluster, gauges are as well 1970 GTX, which I appied the white overlay because THATS WHAT I LIKE!!! just my opinion of course

Sorry I have no info about his location, but you will find it on the net.

If you un hook the battery do they move back up to the normal starting spot ??
Any chance you have the plus and minus backwards on the cluster ?
