Here is a better before and after.

Thank you.

Chasing electrical gremlins. Had no dash lights what so ever. Also had no parking lights when turning on the headlights. Disassembled the light switch and the contacts were pretty corroded, cleaned and re assembled and now have parking lights at all times, and half the dash lights work.

Good stuff.. Looking thru your thread takes me back to some good times. My 2nd of 3 70RRs looked just like yours, same color faded green. Funny story, All 3 of them had bench seats which I modified to recline. With a couple of couch pillows they were like a king size bed. Put a sunroof in one of them and stared at the stars many a night with many a sweetie, sigh., so long ago...

Thanks, I have said from the get go it would be a driver then in time maybe get the full treatment.

It's the small things that make me happy on overall progress. The drivers door hinge was beyond sloppy. While working on it stationary it was not a super big deal as you had to lift the door handle a little. Now that it is a driver it sucks trying to lift the door from the inside. So I bought a full set of hinges off a green satellite. 20 minutes later a super solid door with no fancy washer spacers.
Also cleaned up the door panels as I search for some without speaker holes. Polished the paint a little as well. Have some parts coming in this week to allow me to button up the interior at least the dash. I am really looking forward to the before after on it. Still waiting on the foam for the seat backs so I can re do the front tops.

Dashpad no one else wanted came in today. I did not want an aftermarket and glad I found this one. A dye job later and it is not maroon any more. Also test ran the tach. Sexy accessory for sure.

Found out all gauges actually do work tonight. I could have sworn I had 7 gallons in the car and the gas gauge never moved but I guess quick trips around the block and warming up etc ran it out. Was cruising down the road and ran out at a red light. Have to swap two interior bulbs but everything else is good to go. I absolutely love this dash layout. Foam finally arrived so I can do the seats now.

I really do love the way you are bringing this car back to life!

Worked at a frantic pace to get the interior all done. One thing I forgot when trying to get parts in driver condition is the prep time paint/clean time to get them back into the car. Way faster when you take a bad part out and replace with a new part.
