What's the brake set up? Is it a kit and from who? Just wondering

I got from summit Racing. Right stuff detailing Item #RSD-MDC42DCZ https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rsd-mdc42dcz $1224.00 for all 4 wheels. I had to oval out the frame retainer that holds the brake line where it meets the flexible line. I am sure the calipers are safe but the "floating/sliding" part of the caliper are held on by.....not much. The bolt that the upper part general slides on is not used. The design is completely different.

Also, I had to use a step drill bit to enlarge the holes on the firewall for the new break booster. The placement of the bolts that poke through the firewall are also in slightly different positions up to 3/8 of an inch off. No big deal if you have a good step drill bit.

Disk brake kit mentioned in earlier post. Mopar performance leaf springs. (6 and 8 leaf) The emergency brake cable used existing brackets.

Out with the old leaf spring helpers and coil over shocks for support. Had to cut and flare brake lines as part of the new rear disk brake kit.

The axle was a geared at 3.23. I thought I had 2.73's until I cleaned the housing. I had all ready purchased new 3.23 gears with an Auburn limited slip differential. Axle was completely rebuilt. Hard to find a crush sleeve for an 8 3/4.

Not front fenders but other stuff as the '72

That looks great McFadden! I am going throught exact same process myself. Question on your torsion bars, I have the exact same tubular lower control arms, did you have trouble getting your torsion bars to sit in them? For the life of me I can not get my bars to slide in to the pivot shaft. It has to be something I am doing.

Mcfadden:

You have a picture of the roof rail seal and how it is behind the 1/4 glass? If so, does it go beyond the roof rail track? How long? I don't have a good picture of it on mine. Thanks

I am sorry but I had no trouble at all. I wish I could be of more help.

I started at the front of the door closest to the hinges and worked my way back. I did tuck all extra length into the area behind the 1/4 glass. There is no place to secure it so about 6-8" just sits back there. I included a picture but it is kind of sketchy. I hope it helps.
