1979 Chrysler 300 Registry

The Mrs found this Facebook post from about a year ago. Notice that the poster has located 200 of them and 45 are confirmed as crushed or in salvage yards. Heard of him or this group?

I can take credit for the sheet metal replacement on this one. It was part of a friend's collection of cars, I had already bought his other 300 that had with a better body. This one had been stored outside and lots of rust. I had thoughts of picking this on up too and had an extra hood, fender that were in my way and he had the deck lid so we started with that. For me it was a borderline parts car, one of the K-frame mounts was rotted but it did have a decent interior and the drive line was all good. Unfortunately he passed away and his son sold it, I cant blame he got a decent buck for it way more than I thought it was worth. Guess my donated parts helped with that.

Do I have your VIN for the registry?
 
Another one in the Pittsburgh area Facebook Marketplace, the owner is using it for a parts car for a Magnum I don't belong to Facebook so cant ask the VIN#

Listing 1979 Chrysler 300 - This 300 was an option and it was only produced in limited numbers. This particular car is equipped with a very "Rare Factory Sunroof". Veh has been in storage for approx 23 years. Vehicle is approx 90% original. Body appears to be a Cordoba platform. I have no knowledge of mechanical condition when vehicle was stored. Please study photos carefully as there is some rust throughout roof and back window area. Based on duration of storage and outside storage, Veh will need some mechanical and body work as seen in photos.
Title is clean and keys are available. Veh has been in non-op status for many years. This vehicle deserves to go into a "Mopar Collectors" garage.

This is a limited production car of 3811 for the usa, very nice running car, would drive it anywhere. I have owned it for about 15 years, its been garage kept, I wont describe this car much here, If you like the pictures then you will fall in love with this car as I have. Im only selling because of mesical issues, and before this 10,000 would not have taken this car from my hands, now I need to sell, check ebay and other places, this car would never sell under 5000. Ineed now to get rid of as much as I can ASAP as I will soon be moving to a old guy place and my car cant come. you want to know more then call or text. this is a no bull sale pictures are of the way the car is now, very clean, very fast, very reliable. I have some extra stuff like pinstripping, moldings and more that go with this car as I have tried to collect things over the years. call or text only. Ok let me add motor is a 360 HP 4bbl, no smoke or rattels, has headers and new exhaust, bf goodrich tires 60s front and back. you will love this.
