Does anyone know if the '80 st regis cop car disc brakes can be used for swap onto early a body barracudas? I am familiar with the late a body disc swap - as I just did that (slider calipers, 11.75" rotors) on my 70 road runner. I found (2) 1980 st regis cars complete with 360/727/firm feel steering gear/ft discs and 15" wheels at $1000, with a bunch of extra parts (msd ignition, air gap intake, spare carb) about 35 minutes north of me. I wanted to use the ft discs to convert the barracudas, and upgrade the steering gear at the same time. I also get a 360 out of the deal to replace the tired and now leaking 318 in our 73 barracuda. I realize the '80 360 had low compression, at 8.0:1, and was not known for power. I have spare alum. intake, and thought it may wake up a bit with a summit 272 cam, intake, and headers to dual exhaust. Any thoughts / comments appreciated.
