1st time results of HEMI at track

Just about every Hemi I’ve seen likes RPM, turn up the wick!
Might add from personal experience 8500 comes real quick with a 5.57 gear

Stage 5 heads that flow 540. The motor made the most HP on the dyno at above 8000rpm

With Stage V heads that's not a legal SS engine.
Most I've seen with Stage V heads stopped pulling at 7500 RPMs.

Wow. That's a bold statement about someone else's car, that Mike has already taken through a shakedown at the track, and Mike sounds pretty confident in his expectations, and he certainly has a LOT of drag strip and MOPAR experience...

Curious why you say Hemis won't like to run over 7500 rpm? I've never run one that high. Read, for what its worth the Mopar Missile came off the line at 8800 rpm.

I'm giving 1st hand hemi experience.
Going deep in to the 8s takes 1300 + hp in a B body weighing 3300lbs.
If it were so easy everyone would be doing it.
