Congratulations to 'johnnycuda' (FABO) for winning the Top Qualifier title for the 2018 Dodge// Mile-High NHRA Nationals with an outstanding total of 30.5 bonus points by picking the #1 qualifier in both Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcyle, the #2 qualifier in Pro Stock and the #3 qualifier in Top Fuel.

Here are the results and point standings following completion of the Dodge// Mile-High NHRA Nationals, the 14th event of the 2018 NHRA season and the first of three consecutive weekends of racing on the Western Swing.

Congratulations to 'ocdart' (FABO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title with a perfectly mediocre point total of 117.5. He picked the class winner in Pro Stock, both his Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle picks lost in the semi-finals, and his Top Fuel pick lost in the opening round of eliminations. He was helped with both ET and Speed bonus points in Funny Car.
'johnnycuda' (FABO) was the event runner-up with 115.5 points.
'Budnicks' was the highest scoring FBBO player again this week with 80.0 points.

As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, July 27 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 7:15PM EDT (4:15PM PDT).
The Sonoma Nationals entry list is posted on NHRA.com and currently shows 15 Top Fuel, 18 Funny Car, 16 Pro Stock and 20 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries, but the counts are subject to change. Keep checking

I think that 80*-83*f temp is optimistic at best {low}
it may be that temp in the early morning
when they run after 1:00pm start 'It's gonna' be hot'
the marine layer may come in later or real early,
but during the mid day 'it's direct sun' & hot...
But;
The air will be good, it's sea level...
Hopefully the sun doesn't make it slippery as hell
& a smoke fest
or god forbid a one lane racetrack,
like so many races have been this season...
