2019 9th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Are You Ready For Some NITRO?!!

Yeah Nick!
I have NO CLUE on the Don Schumacher team and their troubles!
And: Tony Schumacher STILL doesn’t have a ride
What is going on there?

Here is your Tuesday-before-the-event reminder about the 23rd race of the 2019 season and the next-to-last race of the "Countdown", the 19th annual Dodge NHRA Nationals Presented by Pennzoil at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle are all competing at this event.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Nitro Qualifying starts on Friday, November 1st in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Professional qualifying is scheduled to start at 3:45PM EDT (12:45PM PDT).
The Dodge Nationals entry list is posted on NHRA.com and currently shows 21 Top Fuel, 19 Funny Car, 19 Pro Stock and 20 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries but that is always subject to change. Keep checking the NHRA.com website for an updated entry list to make sure your picks are competing at this event.

The weather forecast looks PERFECT for the weekend! High temps of 66F on Friday, 70F on Saturday and 72F on Sunday and - this is Vegas baby! - not a hint of rain in the forecast.

Get your picks posted and GOOD LUCK!

Vegas Baby!

Top Fuel: Doug Kalitta

Funny Car: Robert Height

Pro Stock: Erica Enders

Pro Bike: Andrew Hines

I'm late for me & picks, I was/am sick/got a damn cold
but I'll get it in time :poke:

Vegas baby

T/F Steve Torrence
(prediction him or Billy will win)

F/C Robert Hight
(prediction him or John Force will win)

P/S Bo Butner
'rolling the dice baby'
(way to close a class at the top, to call anyone as a prediction,
anyone in the top 5-6 or even Anderson 99 points back in 7th,
in points, can still win)

P/SM Matt Smith
'rolling the dice again, hope it's not craps'
seems like he's got some of his **** sorted out after
making an *** out of himself, with Steve Johnson calling him
'a hobby racer', because he didn't have an engine program
like daddy's boy access (Tricky Rickey Smith's shop) like Matt does

then Matt (& Angie) getting put out in early rounds
& Steve going rounds, what a freaken' dork

(I was thinking of going with a Suzuki, but can't do it, just got that feeling
I predict the Harley's, Andrew & Eddie, other than Angell will do well too,

(not sure what's up with her or her equipment)
I just hope/gambling (another Vegas pun) it's Matt (Buell/S&S), that does better)

Good luck everyone

:popcorn2:I got at a min. of 2 decent qualifiers in Q1 :praying:

Oh well was actually in vegas since last Monday night til now .....

TF Steve Torrence
FC matt hagan
PS greg Anderson
PSm eddie krawiec

I had one good prediction Matt Smith

the rest were OK,
I was hoping S. Torrence would beat Britney too

T/F should be really interesting 55 pt between top 3
Britney only 16 back, Doug in 3rd

F/C should be close too
Hight ahead by 46 over Beckman
56 over Hagan & 72 over John Force
still a lot of championships to be determined at Pomona

Enders & Hine pretty much have P/S & P/SM wrapped up
unless they go out 1st round or don't quaify

150% pt.'s count should make for some interesting outcomes

OK, I have the new point totals but I'm not going to post them right now.
Just know that there was a lot of movement and this is going to be a barnburner of a final event with points-and-a-half at the NHRA finals.
Who's going to play it safe and who's going to go BIG with their picks?
Stay tuned...
