I struggled with picking "Hagan"
Yup, one must admit, that team is still "solidifying" and he is over due for a Big win...
However, being John Forces' home track...I rolled the dice
I was shocked at the difficulties the early teams were displaying with Track Conditions..
It was cool and Balmy there, hoping the conditions will improve

Congratulations to 'cuda20' (FABO) for winning the final Top Qualifier title of the 2019 NHRA season and the 2019 NHRA AAA Finals with an outstanding total of 31.0 points. 'cuda20' picked the #1 qualifier in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle and the #2 qualifier in both Funny Car and Pro Stock. Way to go!
'Duster79' (FABO) grabbed the runner-up qualifying spot with 30.0 bonus points.
'Budnicks' was the top FBBO qualifier with 28.5 bonus points.
More great picks!

We have 16 players this week and 15 different driver combos made up of:
* 4 different Top Fuel drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #8 qualifier Brittany Force (3 picks) and #9 qualifier Antron Brown (2 picks). There is a possibility of one head-to-head matchup in Round 2.
* 7 different Funny Car drivers with two Round 1 head-to-head matchups. One between #5 qualifier Robert Hight (6 picks) and #12 qualifier John Force (1 pick), and the other between #7 qualifier Tommy Johnson Jr. (2 picks) and #10 qualifier J.R. Todd (2 picks). There is also a possibility of two Round 2 head-to-head matchups.
* 4 different Pro Stock drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #2 qualifier Erica Enders-Stevens (9 picks) and #15 qualifier Greg Anderson (4 picks). The next possibility of a head-to-head matchup is in the semi-final round of eliminations.
* 5 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #7 qualifier Eddie Krawiec (4 picks) and #10 qualifier Angelle Savoie (1 pick). There is a possibility of one head-to-head matchup in Round 2.

Good luck all!

:bananadance: yea me :rolleyes: 28.5 qualifying points :lowdown:

lets hope they do better racing, I need wins
I need a big swing in points

good luck everyone

yeah it was a great story line for all classes

Miss Piggy;
won P/S, she should have, she had a huge points lead
Anderson sand bagged qualified 15th, to get 1st rd against her
heads up (that was a feat in it's own) 2 vs 15
he barely treed her, 0.016 to a 0.017 light, but lost by inches,
left no chance for Summit's/JB Racings Jason Line (or Bo) championship
so much for anyone else winning that championship
My pick;
Bo Butner went out in the semis

Andrew Hines;
lucked out, after red-lighting in the 1st round
both people behind him could have won the championship
either blew-up or failed
Matt Smith grenaded his engine, in the semi's
to the eventual winner Quadra (spelling) Chick/rookie
Andrew backed into the P/SM Championship
My pick;
Matt Smith went out in the semi's

Robert Hight;
F/C breaks "allegedly" after a monster burnout
in finals, but wins the championship but loses the race
My pick;
Robert Hight lost in the finals

Steve Torrence;
T/F won the championship in the semi finals
but ultimately lost the race, Britney went out 1st rd (IIRC)
in heads up with Steve Torrence
Torrence after he pushed/flat punched/shoved Ferre (spelling)
in the face, after the 2nd rd (IIRC), then later apologized,
he got caught up in the moment
My pick;
Steve Torrence lost in the finals

all in all I had :poke: a decent day "again" for points/Pick em' game
not enough to get to the top :BangHead:

yeah it was interesting

Steve Torrence performed just like the "Spoiled Little Rich Kid" that he is.....
So sad to see that!
NHRA is investigating.
Anyway, it's over now.
I have 2 greats seats in Feb again.
The FANs all booed Steve Torrence after the incident...
Oh well...here I go Player Hating again!
