2020 10th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Are You Ready For Some NITRO?!!

Tony Schumacher is back! Well, for the first two races in July at Indy anyway.

https://nitromater.com/threads/tony-schumacher-is-back.44391/
Good, it's about damn time too

IF they actually start racing again,
still yet to see any real conformation, it will actually happen
especially with all the narrative of
"allegedly" more cases of Chinese Wuhan Flu, 2nd wave,
as reported by the fake news 24/7, or civil unrest
or some other identity party PC BS, masks & social distancing BS
many opening dates for many or most tracks, all around the country
have been canceled

I hope it does actually happen,
maybe we finally can get back to some sort of normal
NHRA Drag Racing would be a nice change, from the recent narrative
& maybe show some signs of "normalcy"

Many Gov.'s & local leaders, are not supporting the racing community

You haven't seen one of these for awhile...

Here is your "Tuesday before the race" reminder to post your picks for the 2020 E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals in Indianapolis if you haven't done so already.
The NHRA website currently shows 18 Top Fuel, 18 Funny Car, 22 Pro Stock and 16 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries.
The current weather forecast calls for high temps of 89F on Friday with about a 40% chance of rain starting about noon and turning into thunderstorms after 3PM, 87F on Saturday with no rain in the forecast, and 84F on Sunday with about a 20-25% chance of light rain from noon to 3PM.
Post those picks!

Please double check the current event entry list for your driver picks at https://www.nhra.com/schedule/2020/nhra-mello-yello-drag-racing-series/e3-spark-plugs-nhra-nationals#tab-competitors to verify your picks are competing in this first event back from the COVID-19 hiatus. Congratulations to 'memike' (FABO) for grabbing the E3 Spark Plugs Nationals 'Top Qualifier' title with an outstanding total of 30.5 bonus points. He picked the #1 qualifier in both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, the #2 qualifier in Top Fuel and the #3 qualifier in Funny Car. Way to go!
'ocdart' (FABO) took the #2 qualifier spot with 30.0 bonus points each. More great picks!
Good luck all in eliminations tomorrow!

We have 15 players for the 3rd event of the 2019 NHRA "Pick 'Em game season and 15 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There could be two head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations if they all survive the opening round.
* 5 different Funny Car drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between the #1 qualifier, Tommy Johnson Jr. (1 pick), and the #16 qualifier, Ron Capps (5 picks). There could also be one head-to-head matchups in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 6 different Pro Stock drivers picked this week. One Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #3 qualifier, Erica Enders-Stevens (5 picks) and #14 qualifier, Bo Butner (1 pick). There could also be one head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations.
* 5 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers picked this week. One Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #7 qualifier, Steve Johnson (1 pick) and #10 qualifier, Angelle Sampey (3 picks). There could also be one head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations.
Good luck all!
