2021 11th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Time To Burn Some NITRO!!!

ATTENTION: 'cuda20', 'Nick2317', 'SSG Karg' and 'stroked340', Matt Hagan failed a COVID-19 test and will not be driving at the U.S. Nationals this weekend. Tommy Johnson Jr. is driving Hagan's funny car and will earn points for Hagan in the NHRA championship battle.
By game rules each of you can choose a different driver for your Funny Car pick if you would like to. You need to post your alternate driver pick before the scheduled Q2 qualifying time of 2:00PM EDT (11:00AM PDT) Saturday. If you decide not to pick an alternate driver then you will earn the Qualifying bonus points and round win points for Tommy Johnson Jr. and the Hagan Charger.

Unfortunately, I forgot to post the above notice on FBBO which prevented 'Nick2317' the chance to possibly replace his pick of Matt Hagan with another driver.
Therefore, all four players effected by the Matt Hagan/COVID-19 situation can pick a substitute Funny Car driver but you must post your pick before eliminations start tomorrow (Sunday) at 10:00AM EDT (7:00AM PDT).

all my picks except S. Torrence
& Greg Anderson went out too early
then Anderson go beat

young guns is Pro-stock & Miss Piggy did well

I knew I should've picked Ron Capps too,
Force qualified well, then out early

freaken' Matt Smith Choked

$18 part/pin for the wheelie bars
took out their 'any/only' attempt

My strategy is working. Don't pick each week, just lock in and let them come to you. LOL My TF and FC pics both won. Too bad Greg Anderson and Steve Johnson couldn't have been more like they have recently. Great to see Tim Wilkerson win again - my favorite racer.

I guess you can say the 2021 U.S. Nationals had it all: big-name driver sidelined by illness (and then his substitute knocked out of running by an $18 part breakage), bad weather wiping out a full day of qualifying (which prevented other championship-caliber cars from attempting to qualify), and poor track conditions (likely brought about by the bad weather)!

Congratulations to 'Duster79' (FABO) for earning the "Top Picker Eliminator" crown for the 2021 Dodge// SRT NHRA U.S. Nationals, the 13th event of the 2021 season with an outstanding total of 253.0 points. He picked the class winner Top Fuel, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. His Funny Car lost in the final round of eliminations.
'shittyslant6' (FABO) grabbed the runner-up spot with 221.0 points.
'64BEL' was the top FBBO player with 189.5 points

Here's where the bonus points were earned if you picked the right drivers:

Top Fuel
E.T. - Brittany Force, 3.684 during qualifying
Speed - Brittany Force, 334.57 during qualifying

Funny Car
E.T. - John Force, 3.877 during qualifying
Speed - Bob Tasca III, 331.69 during Round 1 of eliminations

Pro Stock
E.T. - Kyle Koretsky, 6.572 during qualifying
Speed - Kenny Delco, 208.55 during qualifying

Pro Stock Motorcycle,
E.T. - Angelle Sampey, 6.806, during Round 2 of eliminations
Speed - Matt Smith, 200.17 during qualifying

I'm sure I made picks before the server crash but don't see them so...maple grove
TF Brittany F
FC Capps
PS Enders
PSM Krawiec

The server crash wiped out a couple months worth of postings on FABO including some "Pick 'Em" posts for the Mopar Express Lane Nationals. I asked players to repost their picks for this week and started a "conversation" with those that I didn't see their picks.
A couple of FABO players could not receive the "conversation" because their inbox is full. The cutoff time for reposting was before Q1 today. I said if they did not repost in time I will carry over their U.S Nationals picks without penalty. It's only fair that I do the same for FBBO players who do not have 'locked' picks and did not post new picks for this race.
'Nick2317, I carried over your picks from the U.S. Nationals.

Sounds fair to me. I also noticed that I'm last in points after the crash, pretty sure I've led this thing from the beginning. If you would kindly boost me up a few hundred points it would be much appreciated,
