225/A904 upgrades and questions

'67 Belvedere 225 w/ A904
I am installing a Clifford intake and header on my 225. I have 2 choices for a carb, Weber DGAS or Holley 500. Any thoughts on which might be better for this application? I have tuned both in the past. The big problem I've been struggling with is how to deal with the kick down linkage. Considering cable or electric. Has anyone else been down this road? Have any insights or suggestions?
I prefer to take the road less traveled, it's always more interesting. Thanks in advance for any help!

Ran a Holley 500 with the green pump shot cam don't remember the jets or powervalve... I had a 2bl. Intake of of a super six and ported it out to the 500 as close as I could... Ran a single exhaust and cherry bomb... I had a cam from crane and the lifters and springs... it was rough but don't remember th grind the pistons were from a Ford v8 but I don't know... I bought it as a once running motor.. but there able be built... as for the linkage.... I would search e bay or here maybe a body's only... but it's not common... can be made the aftermarket stuff is not a good as a factory setup...

I have a lever for the trans and it don't fit my 727 318... and I have recently had the linkages out and sorted... I don't know what it fits but it is mopar auto and I offer it to you just message you're adress and I will send it out to you. If you think it can help .. it's a shift lever for a 70 + ???

Found some aftermarket kickdown cables and brackets or may use a 8V71 shut down solenoid. Appreciate the offer but everything I have is 67 and earlier. Sounds like an interesting build for the engine. Haven't heard of using Ford pistons before.
