Anyone ever run 245's on the front of a 70 B body with a 7" wheel ? I'm planning on 235/ 60's on the front and 275/60's on the rear but if 245's don't cause a problem and would fill up the fender better maybe that's the ticket.

I know people running a 255 series tire on a 69 B-body so I would assume a 245 would fit fine...

I'm running 245/60-15 on a 15x7 rim with a 4 inch back space on the front of my 64 Polara 500.

Does anyone make a chart for backspacing/tire/wheel size for Mopars?? Gonna be looking at getting new wheels and tires soon myself and am curious to know just how big I can go without a mini-tub. . .

Hey howzit? How big do you plan on going and what kind of wheels are you considering? I have seen 10" wide wheels on b-bodies but prefer to see 8's with a 275/60 in the rear and 7's up front with either a 245/60 or 255/60.

I had 245's on a 7" rim on one of my 69 Road Runners and am putting the same on my 69 Charger.

I got a smokin deal on (4) 8 inch rims, w/(4) 275 60 15s. Bought (2) 245s, and mounted them on the front of my 70 Charger w a set of the 8" rims. While I would prefer the 7", clearance is absolutely NOT an issue. Love the tire size for the front.

IMG_2977 (Large).jpg245 60-15 would be the proper size to mimic an F 60-15 Good Year PolyGlas.
Stock 15x7 rims are 4 1/4 back space.
Here is one of my old cars with 235 60-15 front and 275 60-15 rear. Got a deal on the setup but always wanted to change the fronts to 245 60-15.

I've run a 245 on the front of a 70 Roadrunner.

I just replaced some 245/60/15's on my 70 RR with ralley wheels. Didn't have any problems at all. They had been on the car for 8 years.
